Fashion Photographer Greg Swales (http://www.gregswales.com) is photographing the Art Institute of Vancouver’s Graduation Collection for the Grad Show at the Whitebox Studios Warehouse.

Frutrit7, a skincare product company, had its make-up and model competition this last June 26, 2010 at Whitebox Studios. We had 14 very talented make-up artists and their models, all working backstage at the amenity area of the studio. After doing their base work, they were then given a short period of time to do their make-up on the models onstage.

Eva Chen, a Vancouver Fashion Week 2010 designer also showcased her latest Fall collection on the runway at the studio. Photographers from all over Richmond and Vancouver came over to cover the event, mainly coming from Vancouver Photo Club and Vancouver Photo Network. It was a very well-attended event.

Winners were given prizes from sponsors as well as Frutrit7 products.

Vancouver Photo Network had its SNEAK PEEK: 2nd Anniversary Event yesterday, June 13 at Whitebox Studios. We had photographers, models, creative people, businessmen, all in one place. Great music, awesome space, plus creative people under one roof is always an exciting thing.

Vancouver Photo Network talked a little about their organization and what they are planning to do this eyar. Pacifica of Luxe Models had their model presentation, and Heidi of Frutrit7 introduced her beauty care company as well as her new products. Whitebox Studios also introduced the studio amenities and features along with the other sponsors. Vincent Lee showcased his fabulous Fall Collection at the event, worn by Luxe Models as well. It was an amazing collection of sequins, shimmery fabric - nothing less expected from the talented Vincent Lee.

Overall it was a great, well-attended event. A lot of people went home with exciting prizes from Frutrit7, Super Vacation, and Jessica Kuan was very fortunate to win the grand prize photoshoot package sponsored by Luxe, Whitebox Studios and Vancouver Photo Network, which includes a 2-hour photoshoot including make-up and hair styling, plus a model at Whitebox Studios.
